This Autumn, iCandy will once again be attending The Baby Show, which is returning to Olympia London to celebrate its 21st year. From Friday 21st October to Sunday 23rd October 2022, iCandy will be present for the duration of the show at stand N59 and N60.
As a proud British brand, the leading UK pregnancy and parent events are vitally important to iCandy as an opportunity to showcase the very latest iCandy products and support parents on their exciting journey ahead.
Taking centre stage on the iCandy stand at The Baby Show will be the brand-new iCandy Core; a world first for pushchairs. The Core has been expertly designed for every journey; a multi-mode pushchair, adaptable for every age and stage of a child’s development. The exquisite new design showcases striking styling, luxuriously developed fabric and cutting-edge features such as the pioneering Multi-Mode Wheelbase and LED Visibility Hub Light. In addition, parents will be able to check out the iconic iCandy Peach 7 pushchair, the ever-ready Orange 3 and the multi-functional, compact stroller, the iCandy Lime, not forgetting both Designer Collections, the Peach 7 Cerium and Orange 3 Crush. The popular MadeForMums Buggy Testing Track will be returning once more, allowing visitors to test-drive their favourite pushchair on various terrains, ensuring they find their perfect match.
Commenting on The Baby Show, MD of iCandy, Martin Boyle said, “Now in a post-pandemic world it’s exciting to be back out there engaging with customers face to face once more, allowing personal interaction with both products and the team. We cannot wait to hear the latest feedback from parents regarding the latest and greatest iCandy products, and look forward to welcoming consumers into our iCandy family at the show.”
iCandy is a British family run business and has been since its establishment in 1933, when it began as a fashion design and manufacturing company in London, always designing inhouse and sourcing the very finest quality materials: from our family to yours.
The third generation of the family, brothers Bradley and Warren Appel, formally joined in the late 1970s and by the 1980s the business was designing and manufacturing children’s cycle helmets and child car safety seats before developing a range of widely sold nursery products.
In 2007, after over 70 years of research and development iCandy launched its first multi-configuration pushchair - the Apple 2 Pear – a single to double pushchair on a single footprint.
The fourth generation of the family, Cameron and Alexander Appel, have more recently also formally joined the iCandy family business.
The team is dedicated to creating pushchairs that reflect a unique sense of style and practical, well-designed solutions. The perfect mix of high-tech sophistication and smooth living, iCandy is for people who appreciate the value of British design, craftsmanship and technical innovation.
In 2016 iCandy was delighted to share the news that Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II had been graciously pleased to approve the Prime Minister’s recommendation that iCandy should receive a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade. The Queen’s Award for Enterprise is the UK’s most prestigious award for business performance. Following success in 2016, iCandy was delighted to claim another Queens Award, this time for Innovation in 2018, underlining the brand’s ongoing commitment to supreme product development.
